Rebirth of a Legend

At the heart of Colmar, the spirit of Alsace

The Brasserie Les Dominicains (1 rue Reiset) is much more than just a restaurant; it is a central location that perfectly embodies the spirit of Alsatian conviviality. We welcome our customers with typical Alsatian brasserie cuisine (tarte flambée, choucroute, salade vigneronne, etc.) and showcase authentic Alsatian craft beer.

Our history

From “HQ” to Craft Brewery

Founded in the 1950s, Brasserie Les Dominicains has long been the ‘headquarters of Colmar residents’, accompanying generations of Alsatians. After a period of transition following the departure of its historic owner, the establishment underwent a passionate transformation.

Its reopening on 10 July 2024 marks a new beginning focused on promoting the brewing expertise of the Colmar region, led by a team of enthusiasts who work hand in hand with local producers.

We have created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that appeals to everyone. Our unique concept combines a traditional brasserie in a relaxed setting with a must-visit meeting place for craft beer lovers. Our selection is exclusive: we offer 100% Alsatian craft beers.

From the tank to the tap, it's a short journey! Ideally located in the old town centre, we welcome both Colmar residents and tourists alike, making us an authentic place to enjoy life.
